Students’ feedback on online classes (Mirpur):

Since the first Covid-19 lockdown, online classes have gained much popularity and many schools have been opting for it. In the month of March 2020, all of our educational institutions, along with offices and industries, were closed. After some days the people decided to continue their work and studies online. Since then the schools and universities have started taking online classes. Our school, HIS, also took part in it and we started attending the classes online. Just like everything, the method of online classes has advantages along with disadvantages. Our classes were totally stopped, so was our learning. But with the help of online classes we can attend our classes from home regardless of the terrible situation outside. Keeping our health in mind, for me online studying is indeed a safer alternative during the pandemic. Besides the advantages, the method of taking classes online also presents certain disadvantages. In face to face classes, we all are filled with enthusiasm and the interaction between teachers and students is very easy but I feel all of these are lacking in online classes. We also have to stare at the screen for a long period of time which can lead to headache, weak eyesight and lack of concentration if done on a continuous basis. With all that in mind, I realize that despite the demerits, the way of learning online is beneficial in certain situations just like the current one. In my opinion, if we maintain our screen-time and have proper diet, we can minimize the harmful effects and continue to study online safely.

As the deadly virus started to take over the world, it put a pause to the daily flow of work in everyone’s life. Online classes served as an inexplicably great aid to student. Taking lessons from home with ease and coziness surely appeals to most of us. In addition, the teachers are able to help students in a myriad of ways – access to the internet to get improved lectures, the ability to record classes etc. Being able to be fit in lectures in accordance to one’s schedule is most certainly a benefit. When a student is ill, the odds of him/her skipping an entire day is likely in offline classes; with online classes anybody  can tune into the class. Shy and introverted students who fail to speak up to face to face classes feel safer with the text option to voice their inquiries. In conclusion, digital learning is not all gloom and doom. The glorious light of education is still kept ablaze in these difficult times though online classes which must be considered a huge blessing because it truly is.

Students’ feedback on online classes (Mirpur):

In the time of great cataclysm, online classes were like the students savior from the downfall of education. Zoom and Google meet were like soldiers fighting the calamitous pandemic. As over exaggeration as it sounds, without online classes the education system would have reached the nadir. Other than that, online classes diminish any kind of geographical border and students can do classes at their own convenience. There is an electric list of advantages of online classes. It ameliorates a person’s technological skills and videos and pictures can be seen and shared effortlessly. Perhaps in the near future online education would be the pivotal and prime way of teaching.
