The Bangladesh Flood Relief 2026 initiative was launched in response to severe monsoon flash floods across Chattogram District. The project delivered immediate emergency food rations and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) support to severely impacted households, exceeding all original beneficiary reach targets.

Through efficient resource deployment and additional internal funding contributed by HEED Bangladesh, the project successfully expanded its reach by 27.5% over the initial planned target of 2,000 households.

Selection Criteria: Prioritization was given to internally displaced persons (IDPs), women-led households, large families (>5 members), households with children under 5, elderly persons (60+), individuals with disabilities, and ethnic minority groups.
